At the beginning of the Summer you may remember I shared my thoughts and review with you lovely readers about Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration. I absolutely loved not only the smell of these great products, but I also loved how well they worked and how non greasy they made me feel.
I also gave 25 of you readers an opportunity to try the products as well in exchange for a review on your thoughts. Since Summer is almost over I'd like to share our readers reviews and our winner for the $50 visa gift card!

First of all thank you for letting me try this product!! Here is my review, love the smell was the first thing I noticed when I opened the package. Not too strong but smells amazing. The sunscreen goes on smooth and doesn't feel sticky at all like I find some sunscreens do. Also doesn't make me feel like I need a shower as soon as I put It on, I do find this with some other sunscreens.
The after sun, wow!! Love the fact it is a 24 hr moisturizer, it felt cool when I put it on and soothing!! The scent is also amazing! I will be purchasing these products!! - Dawn B.
I received both of these products for review and they are both great. The silk sunscreen provides a great SPF protection of 30 and it is lightly scented. It has a light floral scent that is not overpowering and it applies smoothly. It has no greasy residue. It provides great protection and it is wonderful that it has a water-proof formulation. The After sun lotion has a nice fruity scent that provides moisturization. I thought that these two products were good and that I would recommend them for use to others. Jennifer R.
I loved the silk hydration sunscreen lotion. It wasn't greasy like other lotions and soaked right into the skin. The smell was fantastic! It didn't feel like a sunscreen at all but it protected my pale skin wonderfully. I also have very sensitive skin and had no issues at all! I applied the after sun lotion when I came in. Felt great on the skin and was very moisturizing. Once again with my sensitive skin I had no problems like I do with some creams. Smelled awesome as well! I LOVE the sunscreen and love the after-sun moisturizer just as much, neither one is greasy, they both smell AMAZING!! My skin didn't/doesn't break out when using them ..love love love them ..i will definitely be buying these products in the future.. totally completely love the smell of them ..these are MY sunscreen and moisturizer ..i wont be sharing these with the kids,,well until the old stuff runs out ..then ill share!! love them! - Sheridan S
I LOVED using the Hawaiian tropic sunscreen lotion. The smell was intoxicating and wasn't too overwhelming. I received many compliments on the scent. It wasn't greasy and very easy to put on. I love that there's a sunscreen lotion with an SPF 30 that didn't smell medicinal. I wish the SPF was a bit higher than 30, but overall, for a nice stroll with the kids, I would definitely put his on before heading out. I also really enjoyed the after sun moisturizer. I never realized how dry my skin gets after exposure to the sun and it felt nice putting this moisturizer on. It was cool on the skin and the again the scent was amazing. I'm normally not a consumer of sunscreen. They're usually greasy, not very pleasant smelling, and ends up feeling unnatural on my skin. I was a little leery about trying new Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion and After Sun Moisturizer, but thought I would give them a fair chance. The lotion comes out in a nice coloured silky ribbon that happily does not run. It adheres quickly to the skin, leaving very little of it to transfer or stain clothing. It has a pleasant scent (it reminds me of coconut), but men may be put off by it. A neutral scent would be a good addition to the line. Hawaiian Tropic recommends reapplication every few hours, however even after half a day I could still smell the scent on my skin. It didn't dry out and kept my skin soft and smooth. Equally as important, it blocks out damaging UVA and UVB rays with an SPF 30 rating. The After Sun moisturizer complimented the sunscreen. It too had a pleasing scent, but one that men may find a little too strong for their liking. It replenished my skin and maintained the moisture and suppleness. All in all I was surprised by how much I liked this product and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. - Paresh
Both the Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Sunscreen lotion and the After Sun moisturizer, thankfully, avoid these issues. The sunscreen has quite possibly one of the nicest scents I've ever found with a sunscreen - shea butter. The way it was included in this product is that it is "strong" enough to be noticed but not so strong that it is distracting. Its properties include being waterproof so you don't have to reapply after fun times at a beach, pool, or similar. Its moisturizing quality lasts many hours so your will feel soft and, as I can testify, smelling nice for a long time. The After Sun moisturizer has to be one of my favourite moisturizers. It not only has the lovely scents of mango and shea butter, but it has aloe gel which left a really nice cooling sensation on my skin after application. It moisturizing effect lasts as long as the sunscreen, goes on just as well, and does not leave my skin shiny. This is an important quality for me personally as most (or all, it seems) never absorb as they should. But the After Sun moisturizer does. I heart this moisturizer so much. The only criticism for both products is less about their quality and more about their price. They are more expensive than cheaper, lesser sunscreens and moisturizers. But the extra money you pay is not that much and is somewhat negligible in face of the kind of product you're getting. - J. Long
This weekend my family put the Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen and after sun moisturizer to the test. We loved the fact it didn't feel greasy on our hands or skin after applying the sunscreen, it was silky and smooth, our skin felt so soft with it on. From a long day at the beach, the after sun moisturizer was a must, especially on the spots that got missed applying the sunscreen. The moisturizer was so cool to the skin it felt really good. Now I am not a fan of coconut, but the fragrance wasn't overpowering and the smooth feel of the lotion and moisturizer on the skin won over. - Christine O.
I have used both the Silk Hydration Spf 30 Sunscreen Lotion and the new Silk Hydration After Sun Moisturizer and am very impressed by both products. Both of the products are fast absorbing into the skin and don't feel greasy afterwards which is great! They also have a nice smell. I like that I don't have to worry about getting burned once I have applied the sunscreen. I would definitely recommend these products to others and would buy them in the future. - Anu C.

The Silk Hydration After Sun Moisturizer Again, it smells great! I did not get a horrible sunburn during the testing period but I did apply it after a long day at the beach. Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Sunscreen- I love the lightweight composition of this sunscreen. I have avoided putting sunscreen on my face in the past because I hate the way it feels and looks. But this one was completely different. I didn't even know I had it. It feels just like a moisturizer. The smell is so unbelievable that it instantly transports you to a tropical island. It made my skin feel very soft. I also love that it is waterproof and protects against both UVA and UVB rays. Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Lotion- It also smells great, is non-greasy, moisturizes but is lightweight. It actually softened my skin. Love that it contains aloe which is so soothing to your skin after a day in the sun. It actually cooled my skin. I will definitely buy both of these products for myself. - Melissa F.

My skin felt really fresh after applying the suncreen and it was not greasy at all (a lot of suncreen out there have very heavy texture and my skin felt so oily after applying them). I really like the scent of this suncreen as it makes me feel very refreshing (no smell of heavy chemical at all). I had used it for a few days as my moisturizer and I felt totally great. For the after sun moisturizer, I had used it after our trip to the Wonderland. It was very light-weight, easy to absorb and my skin felt cool when apply it (guess it will help when have sunburn). I feel very refreshing with the lovely scent and cooling effect. I would recommend these products to my friends. - Lee W.
