CATRICE Cosmetics Review

CATRICE Cosmetics is by far the best make up I have tried. We all know that there are so many makeup brands that it is sometimes hard to tell what brand/product would be the best for you. No one wants to spend a ridiculous amount of money on makeup to then just throw it in your makeup bag because it doesn’t cover up or blend with your skin type.

Look no further this brand is fabulous. I got a chance to review a few items from CATRICE Cosmetics and I am completely satisfied with everything that I received. I got to try the liquid coverage foundation, the liquid camouflage concealer, fixing spray, primer goodbye pores and blush box. So let’s talk about these products.

Hi-Def Coverage! Catrice's HD Liquid Coverage Foundation is an ultra-lightweight, high coverage foundation for a natural looking finish. I tried out their 32 Nude foundation. I have tried a ton of foundation and never found the right one. I am in my mid 30’s and my skin has never been great. I have oily, red areas, acne and acne scars and this foundation provides good coverage and makes my skin look so natural. Absolutely full coverage without looking heavy on the skin. The bottle is cute and easy to apply with the unique dropper applicator, my favorite, lets you apply as little or much as you want (doesn’t run or look clumpy) and the color match is perfect. It makes my skin look so good and my makeup looks completely different - like I want it to. I wake up in the morning excited to do my makeup! I finally feel confident. Thumbs up this foundation is the best I've ever used.

Next up was the Catrice Cosmetics Corrector Liquid Camouflage 10. I applied this product together with the foundation and blend it all with a sponge brush. With the two products together they have the perfect consistency, not too thick or thin. It glides on smoothly and blends out easily and provides excellent buildable coverage. I'll then mist my face with the fixing spray I have never reapplied as it stays perfect after 12 hours of wear.

The Goodbye Pores! Catrice's Prime and Fine Pore less Blur Primer is so inexpensive and it is soft and silky and does give a blurring effect. I apply to cheeks, forehead and nose before makeup or even at bedtime. My makeup sits and feels great, then I put it on. Definitely keeps the oil away and helps with pores.

Last was the Catrice Blush Box in Berry. I am not a fan of blush because I am used to having red blotchy skin but once my entire make up is on with coverage, I applied a thin line on my cheek bone. It was a bit too dark of a color for me, but it did bring out my cheek bones and gave it a little pop. The blush is water proof and although I would have liked to have tried a more pinky then red, the blush did what it was suppose to do by highlighting my cheek bones.

After getting a chance to review these products I am fully satisfied and so pleased that I got this opportunity to try them out. I will be recommending this brand to all my family and friends that just want some great make up coverage. The price is also amazing and so inexpensive; anyone can afford this as all of CATRICE Cosmetic products are under $20! How aweosme is that?! A great brand that provides complete coverage that won't break your bank account.

For more information about CATRICE Cosmetics, be sure to head to their website and also check your local Shopper's Drug Mart as well for those of you living in Canada.

Disclosure: All opinions are my own. I received the above metioned CATRICE Cosmetic products at no cost for the purpose of this review. No other compensation was received.

PopSockets:Great Stocking Stuffers (Review & Giveaway) #HolidayGiftGuide

I still can't believe that October is over and we're in November. This year has gone by so fast, it's crazy to think that next year will be 2020. With that being said it's time to get ready for the holidays and start buying gifts. As my kids get older, it's getting somewhat harder and harder to buy for them, especially my oldest who isn't into "Toys," anymore.

One thing for sure is my teens always have their phones on them whether it be texting friends, listening to music, playing games or watching youtube, they make sure to keep that device on them all the time and honestly with them being 14 and 12, it makes me feel better knowing they have them when they leave the house. My 12 year old just got his phone over the summer and when he got it we made sure he had a heavy duty case on it just in case it falls while he's out with friends because you never know.

A couple of weeks ago we were sent a few  PopSockets for our phones and I thought, perfect timing with the holidays being around the corner. If you're unfamiliar with PopSockets, they are a phone grip and stand and come in a wide variety of designs and you can even create your own design by customizing your PopSocket. To use all you do is remove the liner and stick the PopSockets to the back of your phone, tablet or phone case. To open you pull the phone grip out twice, it can close flat when you don't want to use it and it can easily be removed without causing any damage to your device you have it on.

We're pretty familiar with PopSockets as we've had them on our phones before and I absolutely love them. It's great to use with one hand, it secures your phone so that you don't accidentaly drop your it and I love that you can reposition it if need be. The PopSockets are also great to use when you want to sit your phone up to watch a video or movie. My teens absolutely love them and so do their friends.

PopSockets would make great stocking stuffers for the upcoming holiday and they can be used by the entire family. They're inexpensive and take litle to no room, which would be make a great stocking stuffer!

I'm excited to be partnering up with PopSockets to offer our CANADIAN readers a chance at winning two Popsockets. Just comment below sharing what your favorite thing to do on your phone is, (example: scroll Instagram, play games, text, etc.) For more infomation about PopSockets and their other products, be sure to head to their website.

LEGO Disney Frozen II Olaf Review #HolidayGiftGuide

My family and I are huge fans of the Disney hit movie, Frozen. I'm so excited for Frozen 2 to come out and to take my family to go and see it. Although we don't play the entire soundtrack like we use to, our favorite songs from the original movie, Frozen are still played weekly when my kids and I sing our favorite songs during family karoke night.

My five year old is counting down the days until Frozen 2 comes out later this month and I'm just as excited as she is. So when we were sent over a package from LEGO with one of her favorte characters from the movie, she was super excited to put it together and we had to make sure that Frozen soundtrack was playing in the background as her and my husband worked on the LEGO Disney Frozen 2 Olaf set.

The LEGO Olaf toy is loads of fun to build and play with. His arms and neck are adjustable so you can position and move him however you like, and he comes with Frozen accessories to add to the fun. Disney Frozen II fans can channel the joy of this lovable snowman as they put on his blue bow tie or help him hold his pencil to write in his journal as he discovers the various wonders of life. When displayed at home or at work, this buildable Olaf Frozen character figure adds a ray of sunshine on even the coldest day, and is a great Frozen gift idea for Disney fans.

The set comes with 122 lego pieces and is geared for kids six years and older. With my husband's help, my five year old was able to put this set together in about an hour. The pieces came together pretty easy and before we knew it she had Olaf, his blue tie, jounral and pencil put together.

She's had it for a couple of weeks now and LEGO Olaf is still residing in my little girl's room on her nightstand. She loves that the arms and neck are adjustable and that they move. LEGO Olaf has been her favorite and she also loves to have him with us when we tuck her in at night and read her a story.

This LEGO set would be a great gift for anyone who is a fan of the movie Frozen. Would be a great gift for this upcoming holiday season. For more information about Disney Frozen 2 Olaf LEGO set, be sure to head to their website

Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw Blu-ray Review

Ever since hulking lawman Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson), a loyal agent of America's Diplomatic Security Service, and lawless outcast Shaw (Jason Statham), a former British military elite operative, first faced off in 2015's Furious 7, the duo have swapped smack talk and body blows as they've tried to take each other down. But when cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist Brixton (Idris Elba) gains control of an insidious bio-threat that could alter humanity forever--and bests a brilliant and fearless rogue MI6 agent (The Crown's Vanessa Kirby), who just happens to be Shaw's sister--these two sworn enemies will have to partner up to bring down the only guy who might be badder than themselves.

I remember watching the first Fast and Furious at the movie theatre when I was a teen. I absolutely loved it and it's crazy to think that after 18 years of the original movie, it's still going and the fandom is huge.

When we were introduced to both Hobbs and Shaw in previous movies, I was a complete fan, so when I saw that they were starring in a spin-off movie, I was excited to watch it because I'm a huge fan of both Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham and in previous movies their characters weren't the best of friends, so I was pumped to see how this movie would play out.

In the beginning we see both Hobbs and Shaw working together, not willingly, to get a virus from Shaw's sister, but before they can do that she is taken hostage by the villian in this story, Brixton Lore, played by Idris Elba, who plans on using the virus to commit global genocide. As they try to work together to stop Brixton the two men are also trying to work through their differences along the way.

With both Hobbs and Shaw going back and forth with snarky comments towards each other, it really brings a bit of comedy in this action film, which is very entetaining. Even if you haven't watched previous Fast and Furious movies you could watch Hobbs and Shaw by itself since this spin-off has nothing to do with the other movies except for the two characters being in the previous movies and not liking one another.

I really enjoyed the movie and the action scenes in the movie were amazing, but I would expect no less with both Johnson and Staham playing lead as they are both known for pulling off great action scenes. If you're looking for a great action packed movie with a bit of comedy, I'd highly recommend giving Hobbs and Shaw a watch.

Hobbs and Shaw is available today, November 5, 2019, on both blu-ray, DVD and digital for purchase.

NINJAGO: Spinjitzu Slam - Zane Review #HolidayGiftGuide

My son loves to build with LEGOS, so when we were sent the new NINJAGO: Spinjitzu Slam - Zane, he was very excited. Now I'm a mom who usually leaves the LEGO building challenges to my husband, but since he was away for work when we got this set, my six year old begged me to build it.

With this LEGO set, kids can spin up a storm and take on ninja challenges with the spinning top toy. This fun-packed playset features a Zane Tornado Spinner which holds a minifigure and fits onto the easy-to-build spinner launcher, plus a buildable training dummy to use as a target and 2 shurikens that can also be sent spinning by the launcher. Great for solo or social play, kids will love recreating the ninja tornado effect as seen on the NINJAGO TV show and making up their own Spinjitzu Slam competitions with friends.

The set is designed for builders seven years old and above. With my six year old and myself, it took under an hour to build and Lego quality as expected is present in each component. We got organized and separated the 109 pieces into color pieces and followed the awesome step by step building guide.

The set gives you the opportunity to make Zane's Spinjitzu Tornado of Ice spinner. It comes with 3 attachments for attack, defense and also includes a Zane mini-figure. So you can pick which accessories to put on the "spinjutzu".

If new to the NINJAGO theme it may be wise to pick up another character from this collection to increase the play value. This set stands well alone but it would be more fun with friends who had other sets so that your child and their friends can play together. We were all pretty impressed on how well the spinner spins!

Overall this is a fun set whether you are a fan of the television series or not and I definitely want to pick up a couple more characters so that when my son has friends over they can all play together.

Now available, you can get the NINJAGO: Spinjitzu Slam LEGO set wherever LEGOS are sold. For more information about this set and other LEGO sets be sure to head over to their website.

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark Blu-ray Review

It’s 1968 in America. Change is blowing in the wind…but seemingly far removed from the unrest in the cities is the small town of Mill Valley, where for generations the shadow of the Bellows family has loomed large. It is in their mansion on the edge of town that Sarah, a young girl with horrible secrets, turned her tortured life into a series of scary stories, written in a book that has transcended time. For a group of teenagers who discover Sarah’s terrifying home, the stories become all too real in this spine-tingling film.

I can't believe we're already at the end of October and Halloween is today. What better way to end the month of October by sharing with you our thoughts on the movie, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. Over the weekend we got to relax and watch a few family spooky movies and when our little one went to bed we took out Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark and got to watch a great movie that, at times, scared the crap out of me.

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is about a group of teens, Stella, Chuck and Auggie, who get together on Halloween night to prank a local bully. When they run off after pranking Tommy, they end up in at their local drive thru and hide in a car there where they meet a drifter named Ramon.

Not wanting the night to end, the group of teens make their way to the town's local haunted house where rumour has it that the family that use to live there had a daughter, Sarah, that they kept in the house, who would tell the local kids scary stories and these kids would later die. Once in the house the kids stumble upon Sarah' book of scary stories and Stella takes it home. Once the book is home, the stories in the book start to come true with, one by one, with each teen. Trying to save herself and her friends, Stella and Ramon start to research everything they can about Sarah and the rest of the family that use to live in that house.

This was such a great spooky movie to end the Halloween season with. It had myself and my teen jump a few times. Based on the classic book, Scary Stories, this movie brings to life, The Red Spot, The Big Toe and Harold. If you're looking for a great horror movie to end the spooky season, this is it.

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is available now on digital and will be available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on November 5th. Be sure to also check out this amazing makeup tutorial on some classic looks from the movie.

Happy Tuesday, friends! Today we're bringing you another great giveaway, this time in honor of the digital release of the movie Good Boys.

After being invited to his first kissing party, 12-year-old Max (Jacob Tremblay;Room) is panicking because he doesn’t know how to kiss. Eager for some pointers, Max and his best friends Thor (Brady Noon, HBO’s Boardwalk Empire) and Lucas (Keith L. Williams, Fox’s The Last Man On Earth) decide to use Max’s dad’s drone–which Max is forbidden to touch–to spy on a teenage couple making out next door. But when things go ridiculously wrong, the drone is destroyed. Desperate to replace it before Max’s dad (Will Forte,The Last Man on Earth) gets home, the boys skip school and set off on an odyssey of epically bad decisions involving some accidentally stolen drugs, frat-house paintball, and running from both the cops and two terrifying teenage girls (Molly Gordon; Life of the Party and Midori Francis;Ocean’s Eight).

Greedfall Xbox One Review

Explore uncharted new lands as you set foot on a remote island seeping with magic, and filled with riches, lost secrets, and fantastic creatures.

Forge this new world’s destiny, as you befriend or betray companions and entire factions. With diplomacy, deception and force, become part of a living, evolving world - influence its course and shape your story.

I love playing video games and so does my husband. This was a game that had us both intrigued and I was so happy that we both had a chance to play it. Greedfall allows you to carve your own path, creating your character with a unique set of starting skills.  Whether you choose to specialize or be a jack of all trades, GreedFall’s deep crafting system lets you customize the look and stats of your gear to suit your playstyle.

Your decisions will shape the future of the new world and old, and GreedFall gives you the freedom to make them. Use your talents to influence the powerful elite, don the armor of an enemy faction to infiltrate their ranks, and decide the fates of many across a variety of far-reaching quests.

It starts off in an older world that is diseased. It is called Malecore and has killed many people. They seem to be on a hunt to find a cure. At of beginning of the game you get to choose if your character is a warrior (gets to use weapons, and wear armor), magic (you get to use different rings and each has different powers and spells you can eventually unlock), and technical (controlling the battlefield).

As you advance you unlock a bunch of different abilities and locations. I love the way the character fights in this game, and that you can que up attacks which helps a lot, but I have to say the best part of this game is the story line. It feels so real and it is so intriguing to see what is going to happen next. Kind of a downfall is the fact that when you meet a new person, you can't change their fighting style only their gear, but I also am happy with that because its more realistic.

I also enjoy how you can build up skills because this is a small thing I really looked forward to as well as unlocking costumes to my character. Overall, its a very cool game! Definitely a good story line and so much fun to play. I will be spending a good amount of time on this game.

Greedfall is available now for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.

Disclosure: All opinions are my own. I received Greedfall on Xbox One at no cost for the purpose of this review. No other compensation was received.

The Eyes of Ara Nintendo Switch Review

Alone on a remote island stands an ancient weathered castle, steeped in legend, shrouded in mystery. For years it has remained quiet and undisturbed, and yet still the townspeople recall old stories of restless dreams, violent storms, and the eerie glow of ghostly lights dancing in the mist.

Recently a mysterious radio signal has begun broadcasting from somewhere within the ancient walls. Something inside the castle has awoken, and someone needs to venture inside to uncover the truth....

I have always been a big fan of puzzle games.  So when I had the opportunity to try out The Eyes of Ara on Nintendo Switch, I was pretty excited. This game is so enjoyable. It is very intricate and really gets the players involved. I loved the music and vibe it sets- a little scary at times and I love it. It definitely made playing at night kind of creepy at times, but it was awesome.

It starts off with me spending a night in a haunted mansion and you need to find clues to get through door to door. You can also collect coins along the way. This definitely reminded me of the escape room games I love to play on my phone. It definitely gets your mind working to figure out how to get the next door open as I found each level got a little more harder than the one before, which keeps you interested in playing because you want to find all the clues to head to the next room.

While playing you are able to  rotate a full 360 degree circle to look around the room that you're trying to find clues in, as well as look up and down. This is more of a point and click game that allows you to click on objects and some objects will let you interact with them and at times will switch you to an up close view. Once you're able to get the door or a secret passage way opened, clicking it will move you right to the next room. The only thing I'd wish this game had was a map, just so you know where you were going. Although it was pretty clear where to go next, but just in case it's not clear for others, I hope a map is added in the future so you know where you're at in the castle.

The story line is very well thought out and along with the amazing realistic graphic details put into the game, I was very impressed, it clearly took a lot of work to make. If you're looking for a good puzzle/escape room game, this is definitely for you. The Eyes of Ara is now available on Nintendo Switch and also Steam and in both the Apple and Google store.

Disclosure: All opinions are my own. I received The Eyes of Ara on Nintendo Switch at no cost for the purpose of this review. No other compensation was received.

The Lion King Blu-ray Review

Disney’s “The Lion King,” directed by Jon Favreau, journeys to the African savanna where a future king is born. Simba idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cub’s arrival. Scar, Mufasa’s brother—and former heir to the throne—has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is faught with betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba’s exile. With help from a curious pair of newfound friends, Simba will have to figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his.

I remember watching the original movie and absolutely falling in love with the story-line. I can say the same for the remake of The Lion King, I cried with this remake almost as I did for the original. This was such a great movie that my family and I enjoyed from beginning to the end.

I'm always sceptical on remakes, it seems they're popping up everywhere, but I have to say I absolutely loved this one. Way to go Disney and everyone involved. I especially loved that James Earl Jones was still the voice of the beloved, Mufasa. The remake does a great job capturing the original animation, but also brings in some new scenes to the movie that, in my opinion, worked well for this generation.

Not only were there new scenes added to the remake, but also new songs as well, which I thought was fitting. If you're a die hard fan of the original movie or if you are going to get easily upset that scenes and/or songs were added or removed, this may not be for you to watch. From what I've seen in the last few Disney remakes is that they're trying to relate the classics we grew up with to this generation and what's going on in today's society the best way they can. So far I haven't watched a remake that disappointed that much to make me hate it. The Lion King is now available on blu-ray, 4K UHD and DVD today, October 22 from Disney Studios!

Spooktober with DK Canada (Book Reviews)

October is one of my favorite times of the year. I absolutely love Halloween and getting in the spooky spirit and now I get to share this with my little guy, this year will be his first Halloween and I'm so excited for him. We were sent a couple books from our friends over at DK Canada to help celebrate Spooktober and Braxton absolutely loves them. We got Baby Touch and Feel Halloween and Haunted House

About Baby Touch and Feel Halloween
A touch-and-feel book for babies that provides a hands-on learning experience for developing fine motor skills as little ones see and touch pumpkins, cats, candy corn, and other Halloween favorites.

Get the little pumpkins ready for Halloween with Baby Touch & Feel: Halloween. Filled with real-life photographs of pumpkins, cats, candy corn, and other Halloween favorites that have textures babies can touch and feel, this is the perfect book to encourage tiny fingers to explore and to help develop fine motor skills while building an early learning foundation with clearly labeled pictures.

With padded covers, simple images, and an amazing range of novelty textures, Baby Touch & Feel books capture the attention of the very youngest children and create an experience they'll want to repeat again and again.

I am so excited about this book! It is so cute and little, which makes it easy for my Braxy to hold. He loves the feeling of every page and is really curious about it. My favourite page is the "green sticky mixture" I have never seen a touch book with the sticky feeling! I am so excited about it and Braxton LOVES it. He constantly plays with it, he loves how little it is, because he can carry it with him without it dragging him along. I'm also happy because its a Halloween book! My husband doesn't "celebrate" Halloween like I do, so when we got this book I was able to get him to read it to our son and get him a little more excited for the spooky season! I'm slowly changing him into a Halloween lover! This book is so cute and enjoyable! A for sure must buy for your little human during the spooky season.

About Haunted House
Are you daring enough to join the brave cat and mouse as they explore the noisy haunted house? If so, open the surprise flaps and hear the funny, light-activated sounds in this spooky sound book that's shaped like a house.

With a delightful rhyming story to read aloud to little ones, a sliding door on the cover, and enticing flaps to lift inside, it's the perfect noisy Halloween gift for the scariest time of the year.

This interactive spooky house board book will appeal to a baby, toddler, or preschooler. When they push open the front door slider on the cover they find a friendly ghost, and hear some fun Halloween music and a ghostly woooh! Inside, they'll discover more entertaining characters under flaps to fill their Halloween with sound: a talking monster, a rattly skeleton, a smiley mommy with a silly scream, and chuckling Mrs Witch. Little ones will soon be joining in with the rhyming story, and they will improve their fine motor skills as they lift the exciting flaps and discover who's hiding behind each one.

With its slider, lift-the-flap sounds, and fun shape, Haunted House provides lots of opportunities for parent-and-child interaction, and hours of Halloween entertainment little kids will love.

This book about a kitty and a mouse walking through a haunted house "not scared" is so perfect ! I'm shocked at the creativity of this cute story and the sound effects made Braxton so excited! He kept flipping the page and was super engaged even once I was finished reading. He went back to some of his favourite pages and just kept flipping to hear the sounds. Such a good idea for the book! It has a switch on the back to turn the book on and off so the battery stays alive. I love this, so does my little dude! Super happy that this book will be in our Halloween collection because it's a Halloween must for your kiddos.

I love that both of these books have some sort of sensory, I think that's so important for my baby to develop and learn.  If you have a little one I really love and suggest these books and am so excited I got the opportunity to review them. For more information about where to purchase both books and about Spooktober with DK Canada, be sure to head over to their website

Getting Cheesy with Tre Stelle (Recipes & Review)

I'm a pretty cheesy person. And I guess that would be in the goofy way and in the way that I LOVE cheese and so does my family! So when we had the opportunity to partner up with Tre Stelle and try out a few of their different cheeses, I was beyond excited!

Tre Stelle offers high quality cheese you can create delicious meals with at an affordable price so that you're not breaking the bank to feed your family. I was sent a few of their products to try out a couple different recipes for my family and I am certainly a fan. I got to try their mozzarella, feta, ricotta and mascarpone. I had already been a fan of their mozzarella, but now I'm a fan of all the other cheese I got to try.

In the world of cheese, Mozzarella is the ideal supporting character, melting beautifully, complementing other flavours and offering its own mild, milky pleasant taste. Mozzarella melts into a crowd of other recipes, from pizza to omelettes, quesadillas, grilled cheese, lasagna and many more.

Moist and delicious, mild Ricotta has a delicate milky aroma and a smooth creamy texture. Appreciated for its low milk fat, it is also high in protein making it a healthier alternative to full fat cream cheese. Traditional Ricotta has the classic slightly grainy texture that many enjoy for use in pasta and dips. Extra Smooth Ricotta has a more creamy texture making it perfect for more delicate pastries and desserts or simply spread on bread or a bagel with fruit, jam or honey.

A centuries-old staple of the Mediterranean diet, Feta cheese was brought to Canada by Greek immigrants, and Canadians fell in love. Tre Stelle Feta comes in a wide range of variations: Regular and Light; crumbled, cubed or in wedges; even flavoured versions like Tomato and Basil or Garlic and Herbs. It’s great in salads, on pizza, in dips or as a stuffing for meat dishes.

Tre Stelle Mascarpone is a rich, fresh triple-crème related to cream cheese and Ricotta. It's soft and white, smooth and spreadable, Mascarpone is endlessly adaptable in the kitchen. You can have it throughout the day starting with breakfast with a slice of bread topped with fruit, jam or honey. It adds creaminess and texture to pastas and risottos and is a great base for dips and sauces, and can be used in so many dessert recipes.

I knew I wanted to create something with their mozzarella cheese that was not only kid friendly, but with being a busy, on the go mom, that has a kid who's in sports, I wanted to make sure it was something that I could whip up pretty fast so that I wasn't spending all my time in the kitchen, because come on now, ain't nobody got time for that. So I decided to go with a pizza grilled cheese. It's a recipe I've been making for my kids for years and is definitely something that tastes delicious, but also doesn't take a lot of time to make. You can also mess around with this recipe adding different toppings you would like on it.

2 tbsp. butter
2 slices sourdough or white bread
1 Cup shredded mozzarella divided, or 2 thin slice of mozzarella
8 slices pepperoni
Pizza sauce for dipping

1. Preheat pan and assemble sandwich. Spread butter on the outside of two slices of bread. On the inside of one slice, top with half of the shredded mozzarella or one of the two thin sliced mozzarella, add your pepperonis, remaining shredded mozzarella or second slice. Top with remaining slice of bread, buttered side up.

2. In a large, oven-safe skillet over medium heat, cook sandwich until crispy, 5 minutes per side. In a small bowl add pizza sauce for dipping and enjoy!

The next recipe I made was one that would be for a sit down dinner with the entire family. With the fall weather being in full swing, I wanted to make sure that we enjoyed some comfort food and what's better than pasta? I found a great recipe on Pinterest from Kitchen Divas and decided to make stuffed shells with a delicious salad and got to use both mozzarella and ricotta cheese for this recipe. With a few changes to the recipe to fit our household, this meal was a huge hit for my entire family and it's being added to our family meals from now on. The ricotta cheese and meat mixture turned out perfect and topping the shells with the mozzarella cheese gave it the finishing touches it needed to make this a great meal that everyone enjoyed.

1 large box pasta shells, jumbo
1 large jars pasta tomato sauce
1 pound ground beef
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp garlic, minced
1 tub Tre Stelle ricotta cheese, 475grams
1 cup parmesan cheese, grated or shredded
2 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated or shredded to taste
2 large eggs
1 tbsp dried Italian seasoning
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
olive oil
cooking spray

1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil with a teaspoon or so of salt and a tablespoon of olive oil. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Stir regularly to prevent shells from sticking to the bottom of the pot. Drain, rinse under cold water and set aside.
3. Spray a 9 by 13 inch pan with cooking spray. Coat the bottom of the pan with tomato sauce. Set aside.
4. In a medium skillet, heat 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic and cook, stirring until tender, about 5 minutes. Add the ground beef and cook, stirring regularly, until done. Add salt and pepper and remove from heat.
5. In a separate, large bowl, whip together the ricotta cheese, eggs, Parmesan cheese, and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Next add the meat mixture, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and Italian seasoning to the ricotta mixture. Stir to combine thoroughly.
6. Spoon 2 tablespoons of the filling into each cooked pasta shell. Place the filled shells in the prepared dish facing up.
7. Pour more marinara sauce over the filled shells and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Then turn the oven up to broil for a few minutes until cheese is nicely browned
8. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
