MY REVIEW
I remember the first time I watched Pocahontas. It was after it came out on VHS and I remember my childhood teacher, Miss Seal playing it for our class. As I watched it I remember going home and asking my grandma if we could get it so that I can watch it with my sister. About a week later I watched it again with my younger sister. We memorized every song and fell in love with John Smith. I remember smiling, crying and just watching in awe at how beautiful Pocahontas looked. When I got the chance to review both one and two movies, I was excited because it brought back so many memories of my childhood. I was also excited to watch part two as I had never watched it before. I have to say both stories and movies were good and I loved all the songs. My daughter has watched both movies a few times now and loves singing along with Pocahontas. Watching both these movies, especially the first one on blu-ray instead of VHS makes a huge difference. The colors, how clear the picture looks, absolutely amazing.
I must admit I am a much bigger fan of the first movie, I think because it not only reminds me of my childhood, but that the love between John and Pocahontas was something I adored for years.
