Celebrate #Disney's 35th Anniversary w/ The Rescuers & The Rescuers Down Under Blu-ray DVD Combo

THE RESCUERS
The Rescue Aid Society goes on a mission to rescue a little girl named Penny who has been kidnapped, when law enforcement fails to locate her. Miss Bianca, the Hungarian representative volunteers to accept the assignment, and chooses Bernard, as her co-agent.

THE RESCUERS DOWN UNDER
Set in the Australian Outback, a young boy named Cody who rescues and befriends a rare golden eagle called "Marahute", who shows him her nest and eggs. Later on, the boy is caught in an animal trap set by McLeach, a locally wanted poacher.
The Rescue Aid Society field agents, Bernard and Bianca, are once again assigned to another mission to find Cody, interrupting Bernard's attempt to propose marriage to Bianca.

I'm a huge Disney's fan. I think most of us out there are. So when I had the chance to review Disney's 35th Anniversary Edition of both The Rescuers and The Rescuers Down Under I leaped at the chance. Not only had both these movies been on my favorite Disney movie list as I was a kid, but I think I was more excited about my kids seeing a classic from my childhood.

I have to say the quality that they mastered on this blu-ray and DVD is pretty awesome. If you didn't know better you'd think this was a movie that just came out, not  a movie from 1977 (The Rescuers) and 1990 (The Rescuers Down Under).

As we set to watch both movies I think what my kids loved most about both movies was the action and adventure that went on during both missions to save both Penny and Cody. What my daughter loved was the relationship between Bernard and Bianca. I thought it was cute and loved seeing both my kids get excited as they watched the adventure unfold.

Disclosure: All opinions are my own. I received The Rescuers & The Rescuers Down Under at no cost for the purpose of this review. No other compensation was received.
