Monster Munch {#Recipe}

Oh this is one of my favorite times of the year. Fall brings out not only new seasons of my favorite television shows, but also I get to enjoy wearing sweaters, drinking hot cocoa, apple cider, carving pumpkins and of course getting ready for Halloween!

My family is big on Halloween. In fact we have an annual adult and kids party that we do and I'm excited to host the kids party this year. I have a few new recipes that I've been working on and can't wait to see how the kids like them.

Of course what's a Halloween party without the Monster Mash!? A classic song that has already been playing in my kitchen since October 1st! Not only is my Halloween music been playing since October 1st, but the house is decorated and ready for the kids to Trick-or-Treat!

I've been making Halloween snacks a few times a week for my kids and decided I should share a few of them with you, so from now until the end of October I'll be sharing with you some delicious Halloween snacks that are kid friendly, easy to make and only take a few minutes. I'm starting with the Monster Munch! It's a combination of popcorn, melted chocolate and any sort of Halloween candy you'd like to add. Perfect for a snack during a Halloween movie or for a Halloween Party. Enjoy!

MONSTER MUNCH
Ingredients
2 Bags of popped popcorn
1 pound White Almond Bark
1 C  Candy Corn
1 1/2 C  Dry Roasted or Salted Peanuts
1/2 C Reese Pieces
Halloween Sprinkles (optional)

Directions: Pop each bag of popcorn according to package. When done pour in a large bowl or container making sure that you discard any un-popped kernels. Add in your candy corn, Reese Pieces and peanuts and mix together. In a small bowl place almond bark and melt in microwave in 30 second at a time taking it out and stir and repeat until bark is completely melted. Once melted pour over popcorn and mix together thoroughly. When completely coated, place mixture on a baking sheet with wax, parchment or foil paper to dry. Option to add Halloween Sprinkles now. Once dry break up into pieces and to serve and enjoy!
