I had the opportunity to try both grape and strawberry filled licorice. Let me say they are super delicious and addicting, I had to stop myself from eating them. They're much softer than regular licorice, which I'm assuming has to do with the filled jelly inside. I loved the grape more than the strawberry licorice, but both were really good.
The kids loved both. This was our first time eating filled licorice so when they took a bite out of them they were surprised with the filling bursting out in their mouths, but they enjoyed it. When you first open the package the smell of each flavor hits your nose really quick and they smell delicious. I'm really hoping to see these delicious new treats in the stores out here in Canada if not I'll be looking for them on my monthly trips to the states.
These goodies retail for less than two bucks a package so they're very affordable. American readers, look for them in stores and to my Canadian readers I'll have to keep checking to see if they are available in any stores out here, if I find them, you'll be the first to know!
