GIVEAWAY: Jake and the Neverland Pirates: Jake's Neverland Rescue DVD

In "Jake and the Never Land Pirates: Never Land Rescue," Jake embarks on his most heroic mission ever as the magic of Never Land begins to disappear just as the ancient Forever Tree seems to be fading away. After a mysterious figure known as "The Guardian" arrives to explain that only the pirate who truly believes in himself can save Never Land from vanishing completely, Jake must break off from the rest of his crew and go alone on a mission to save the Forever Tree, the source of magic throughout all of Never Land. Guiding Jake on his quest is Tinker Bell, who makes her first-ever appearance in the series.

MY REVIEW

I was very excited to have the opportunity to review the Jake and the Never Land Pirates movie because my daughter loves the television show! She loves the characters and often pretends she is a pirate too, after watching the episodes. When I brought home "Never Land Rescue" my daughter was so excited and wanted to watch it immediately. We put it in, made a snack and watched the adventure!

This movie was great! Disney Junior never disappoints with their television shows and their movies! Jake and the Never Land Pirates is age appropriate and demonstrates effective problem solving skills and good behaviour (from the little pirates not Captain Hook). My daughter also loved that the DVD had four additional episodes that she had never watched before! The other special thing about this movie was that it came with a special "sword of destiny"! It was an inflatable sword that came with glow-in-the-dark stickers to decorate it. This assisted my daughter in her role play as a pirate!!!

The weekends are the time we look forward to as a family because we love to spend as much time together as possible because we are so busy during the week. My husband, my children, and myself, like to have a movie night each weekend. This movie was awesome to watch as a family and allowed us to spend some quality family time together!
