When I came home from my trip from California a few months ago, I had extensions in. I kept them in for a few months and when I finally took them out my hair had grew a couple inches, but was also suffering from not being treated properly. With the braids I could only wash my hair once every other week other wise they would get really loose and come out before they were ready.
So when I finally took them out and received a few products from Dove Hair Therapy from their new Intensive Hair Repair line, I was thrilled. I was happy not only because it was products from Dove, which I love, but because I really wanted to see the results on how the Intensive Hair Repair would be take on my hair.
I received Dove Hair Therapy Intensive Care Shampoo, Conditioner and Daily Super Conditioner. The shampoo is said to ensure that your hair is evenly moisturized and the conditioner has a pro-moisture complex that infuses your hair with amino acids and lastly the daily super conditioner provides extra care for damaged hair, which was definitely what was going on with my hair.
To give the products a really thorough test, I decided to wash half of my hair with the products from Dove Hair Therapy and the other half from a shampoo I tend to use and then blow dry both sides. I have to say I am very impressed by the outcome of the Intensive Repair line. Not only do the products smell absolutely marvelous, but they made a huge difference on my hair as you can see from the image below.
What I loved most about the products from the intense repair line was how there was barely any frizz after blow drying my hair and how soft and shiny it made my hair feel and look. While blow drying, I usually part my hair in a couple sections and I normally use a detangler to comb out my hair, but with using the shampoo and daily super conditioner my hair wasn't tangled enough to even use the detangler spray!
