My Little Pony Equestria Girls DVD Review #MLPEG

When Twilight Sparkle’s crown is stolen from the Crystal Empire, she pursues the thief, Sunset Shimmer, into an alternate world where she finds herself turned into…a teenage girl! To regain her crown and return to Equestria, Twilight must learn how to fit into this strange, new world and defeat Sunset Shimmer in a competition to become crowned Princess of the Fall Formal at Canterlot High. Luckily, she will have the assistance of Spike and five teenage girls who remind her of a certain group of ponies back home.

MY REVIEW
Not only was my daughter super excited about the new My Little Pony Equestria Girls movie, but so was I. I absolutely loved seeing the characters of this show in the "human," world. It was awesome seeing Twilight Sparkle as a teen in high school along with the rest of the crew from the television series.

With a great story line that had a great ending that teaches kids about friendship and to forgive, this is definitely a movie for not just little girls to watch, but for the entire family. We watched it together as a family and we couldn't take our eyes off the screen. The movie was filled with colorful scenes, tons of catchy songs and a view into the world of the ponies in our world with technology, trying to walk, eat with a spoon and fork and all.

Not only did the movie come with awesome bonus features, but it also came with nail decor that my daughter can use when decorating her nails. She was pretty excited to see that and to learn that there will be Equestria dolls out for sale soon, I'm looking forward to that as well! This is a perfect movie for young girls who are fans of the My Little Pony television show and also those that are a bit older. The show reminded me of a younger version of Monster High, which was pretty awesome and also kept the attention of my six year old boy, lol.
