Epic Blu-ray Review

Transported to a magical world, a teenager (Amanda Seyfried) is recruited by a nature spirit, Queen Tara (Beyoncé Knowles), to help the “Leafmen” save their existence – and ours – from evil warriors. The whole family will love this fast-paced thrill-ride, with its astonishing animation and all-star voice cast that includes Colin Farrell, Oscar Winner Christoph Waltz, and Steven Tyler!

Every Blu-ray and DVD comes with the Epic Coloring and Storybook Builder app. The app will allow kids to create their own Epic story and share it with family and friends. Epic is now available on both blu-ray and DVD for purchase!

MY REVIEW
Epic was such a good movie. My kiddos, hubby and I loved everything about it. From the hilarious characters of Mub and Grub who kept us laughing and entertained from beginning to end of the movie and then you have Mary Katherine (MK) and her relationship with Nod. It's that same first meet, have chemistry and fight off and on until you realize that you love each other kind of relationship. Although it was pretty obvious that Queen Tara was going to die, I couldn't help but feel so sad for Ronin. It's obvious that they both love one another and it's sad that things ended before they began for them.

The ending turned out okay, but I would have ended it a bit different. Although I knew MK had to get back to her world to better her relationship with her father, I was sad to see her leave until I saw that her and Nod along with a few others kept in touch via video chat, lol. It's an adorable movie and I definitely would recommend it.
