My Peek-a-Boo LapPup - Scout Review #HolidayGiftGuide

Having an eight month old definitely keeps me on my toes. My son is now crawling and on the go, so finding toys that can keep his attention while also helping him learn is always a good thing in my book. I was really happy to recieve My Peek-a-Book LapPup Scout  for him to play with from LeapFrog.  I pulled out the LapPup, opened it up and Braxton had the cutest, excitement filled smile! He grabbed it with his cute little hands and from then on he has been attached to it by the hip.

Learning is important business with My Peek-a-Boo LapPup! There are two types of LapPup's a green one named Scout and a purple one named Violet. The LapPup sings a variety of diffrent songs that helps your little one learn rhymes, shapes, colors and numbers. By a variety, I mean, I am still hearing new little songs that I didn't even know it played and the amount of times he plays them, it's shocking I am still hearing new songs. Five crayon buttons light up while playing phrases and songs about colors. Shape buttons play rhymes about shapes, colors and numbers. Slide the clicking mouse up and down for additional play. Aimed for little ones ages 6-24 months, the LapPup does require three AAA batteries. 

The LapPup has a peak-a-boo button on the head of the LapPup, when you press it the puppy hides its face and says "Peek-a-boo," It is so cute and he loves it! Brax is in love with dogs, so this has become one of his favourite toys to play with. His little giggle every time he opens up the LapPup is amazing and infectious, as I smile too.

For all you mommas who can't take the constant loud singing (me!) of some toys, it's actually quite enjoyable, and there is a lower volume button so it isn't so loud, which makes us both happy as he can still hear the songs and play with his new favorite toy and it doesn't bother me.

It's a perfect toy, especially for the holidays approaching. We have a baby shower in a few months and we will be purchasing one of these for our friends because we love it so much and are absolutely sure their new baby will when he or she is a little older too! My little guy is eight months old and I don't see a time where he won't use it anymore!
