Thirsty Thursday: Coconut Banana Smoothie w/ @RobsReallyGood Beverages (Review)

It's finally feeling like Spring over here where we are and I couldn't be happier. We've had sunshine over the last couple of days and I'm enjoying each and every minute of it. The kids are on their bikes and scooters, the neighborhood kids are coming around and our grill is open for the next couple of months.

One of the things that I enjoy on a hot and sunny day is a nice cold drink to satisfy my thirst. What I like even more is finding a beverage that I can drink and not feel guilty about. That's what happened all last week when I had the opportunity to try a handful of Rob's Really Good Beverages. These drinks are  not only delicious, but they are also ZERO calories. Yes, you read right. These delicious, refreshing beverages are zero calories, so you can drink them and not feel guilty.

I got to try five out of the six different flavors and let me tell you, I would buy these drinks in a quick minute if I saw them in the store. I didn't get to try the Grapefruit drink, but would love to. The flavors I got to try were Coconut, Coconut Pineapple, Cucumber, Plum and Tart Cherry. My favorite had to be the cucumber flavor. When I first read the flavor on the bottle for cucumber, I was pretty excited. This was not only refreshing, but had a melon type taste that was definitely alright with me.

Now while reviewing these drinks and being on my smoothie kick that I've been on lately is what inspired this week's Thirsty Thursday recipe, Coconut Banana Smoothie. I figured I hadn't tried these two combinations together and why not.

Now those of you that are in the states, you can probably find Rob's Really Good Drinks at a number of places, but those of us that are in Canada will have to order these bad boys online, which let me tell you, totally worth it!

Disclosure: All opinions are my own. I received the above mentioned drinks from Rob's Really Good at no cost for the purpose of this review. No other compensation was received.

Coconut Banana Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 Banana
1 6oz. Vanilla Yogurt
1 Cup Rob's Really Good Coconut Juice (Any Coconut water will do too)
Optional: To make this an adult beverage I suggest adding a bit of Malibu Rum in it. It really brings the Coconut flavor out in the drink.

Directions: Cut up banana and put in blender. Add yogurt and Coconut juice and blend. Feel free to add more coconut juice/water until you get the consistency that you desire. Blend to smooth, pour in glass and enjoy!
