Parental Guidance Blu-ray/DVD Review

Old-school grandparents Artie (Crystal) and Diane (Midler) get more than they bargained for when they get stuck babysitting their type-A daughter’s (Tomei) overprotected kids. But things go from hectic to hysterical when Artie realizes the kids are running the house with their newfangled technology. By playing by his own rules, which include sugary snacks, old fashioned games and tough love, Artie manages to outsmart the kids and achieve the impossible- bring the family closer together!

MY REVIEW
I'm a huge fan of Bette Midler and I enjoy some of the older films that Billy Crystal was in, so when I got the opportunity to watch Parental Guidance I was pretty excited. It didn't disappoint in any way. This movie had a great cast.  The story line was both hilarious and had me thinking of old memories with my grandparents and what it's like some times for my parents with my kiddos.

I also loved how they family bonded. They might not have seen eye to eye with each other on things, but what family always agrees with everything? I loved how in the end they come together and that not only did the kids bond with their grandparents, but the daughter got to bond with her parents. Such a great movie. I think I'm going to let my in laws watch this, they'd get a kick out of this movie.
Disclosure: All opinions are my own. I received Parental Guidance at no cost for the purpose of this review. No other compensation was received.
