Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner On The Go with @MapleLeafFoods #PROTINIS! (Giveaway)

As a mother of two (almost three) who not only is a stay at home mom, but a mom who works from home, it's hard to find time for myself, especially when it comes to making sure I'm eating breakfast and lunch and the occasional snack.

I may be up a couple hours before the kids get up, but when I get out of bed, brush my teeth and wash my face, I then start typing on the computer before I get a chance to eat anything. My second alarm goes off and it's time to wake the kids for school, make them breakfast and while they're eating make their lunch and set their clothes out for them. By the time everything is done, they're on the bus and I sometimes forget to make sure I eat breakfast. Life gets busy and my days seem to fly by. By the time the kids are ready for bed, so am I.

Now that the kids are home for Summer break, although I don't have that second alarm to wake them for school, I still find myself sometimes not eating breakfast and getting as much work done as possible before they're up for the day.

That's why I was pretty excited when I had a chance to check out and try Maple Leaf's Protinis. Packed with lots of protein, these are the perfect bite size snacks I need when I'm either on the go running errands or while I'm working in my office. They're perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The protein in Protinis helps slow down the digestion of food, keeping you feeling fuller, longer, and protein snacking can support physical activity and weight management goals by building and repairing muscles and tissues.

I got to try both their Oven Roasted Chicken and Cranberry and also the Honey Garlic Chicken. Both are delicious and just the perfect snack I need to make sure I get enough protein throughout my day. I absolutely loved the combination of both the dried fruits and chicken. What I love best about them is that you can eat them as is or you can dress them up by adding them to your average salad, you could even make a chicken wrap with them by adding a tortilla and some veggies. There are a number of different ways you can eat Protinis, but I do love that they're ready to go right out of the package.

PROTINIS are available throughout major grocery stores across Canada retailing at $4.99. They are available in eight different flavors:

Oven Roasted Chicken
Sweet Thai Chili Chicken
Mild Salsa Chicken
Honey Garlic Chicken
Oven Roasted Chicken and Cranberry
Oven Roasted Chicken and Superfruit
Oven Roasted Chicken and Mango
Oven Roasted Chicken and Apple
