@JohnFriedaCA Beach Blonde Collection (Review)

I am a huge fan of any John Frieda products, I have never been disappointment with any type of products I buy from their line. When I heard that they were coming back out with their Beach Blonde Hair and it was improved, I knew I had to try it. Just like before, the Beach Blonde Collection offers a summer look as if you've just come back from the beach. I was sent all four products from this line, their Cool Dip Purifying Shampoo, Smooth Seas Detangling Conditioner, Kelp Help Deep Conditioner and the Sea Waves Salt Spray.

The Cool Dip Purifying Shampoo is a minty-cool cleanser that purifies hair, by removing daily dirt and excess product. The seaweed formula that's in the shampoo, cleanses and adds texture to hair, helping to prep your hair for style. I have medium length hair and I really love what the Cool Dip Purifying Shampoo did for my hair with just after one use. My hair felt soft, looked fuller, had a nice shine, and the ends were fully nourished.

The Smooth Seas Detangling Conditioner, also minty fresh, helps untie knots and snags in your hair. It nourishes your hair and refresh your scalp helping to restore the shine in your hair. I continued to use the shampoo for a few weeks, in combination with the conditioner, but found a lot of buildup in my hair after a few weeks, so instead of the conditioner I used the Kelp Help Deep Conditioner Masque and absolutely loved the feel of my hair immediately after. The Kelp Help Deep Conditioner seeks out damaged hair fibers and quenches them from root to tip for silky-suppleness and healthy-looking shine.

After using the shampoo and Kelp Help Conditioner, I towel dried and blower dried my hair. It was left with the bounce and healthy feeling. I didn't wash my hair for two days and the moisture and volume was still there, which made me really happy.

On my days when I am rushed out the door, I leave my hair naturally curly and let it air dry. I decided to use the Sea Waves Salt Spray to see how my curls would go. The Sea Waves Salt Spray helps  heat damaged hair with intense moisture. The leave-in, non-drying formula is suitable for all hair colours and features the summery coconut scent.  I normally have frizzy hair and only use mouse and a little spray to keep to down. The salt spray was great once my hair was air dried it wasn't as fluffy and frizz, it seemed to balance my hair and left it looking healthy and still bouncy.

The Beach Blonde Collection retails at $10.99 per product. For more information about this collection and other John Frieda products, be sure to head to www.johnfrieda.ca.
