Carrie Blu-ray DVD Review

Carrie is a reimagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White (Chloë Grace Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore), who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.

MY REVIEW
I remember watching the original Carrie when I was younger and actually a few years ago, the hubby and I saw it on TV and watched it again. It's just one of those classic movies you think shouldn't be remade, but know it's going to happen because of how popular it was. Well I have to admit, I had my doubts on how this new version would compare with the original version, but I have to say I was pretty impressed. Chloe Grace Mortez did an amazing job as Carrie and Julianne Moore was amazing as usual. With all the special effects, I definitely think this remake was done with great respect of the original movie. I also loved that there was an alternative ending to the movie and over an hour of extras you can watch. If you loved the original version, be sure to check out the latest remake of Carrie!
Disclosure: All opinions are my own. I received Carrie on blu-ray DVD at no cost for the purpose of this review. No other compensation was received.
