Dreamwork's Home Blu-ray Review

When Earth is taken over by the overly-confident Boov, an alien race in search of a new place to call home, all humans are promptly relocated, while all Boov get busy reorganizing the planet. But when one resourceful girl, Tip, manages to avoid capture, she finds herself the accidental accomplice of a banished Boov named Oh. The two fugitives realize there’s a lot more at stake than intergalactic relations as they embark on the road trip of a lifetime.

MY REVIEW
This was such a great movie to watch. The family and I sat down and had a movie night a few weekends back. Since we had just received Home on blu-ray, we were all excited to watch it. We didn't get a chance to see it in theatres, so my kids were pumped to watch it. I have to say, this was a great movie. Boov's aka Aliens taking over Earth and kicking the humans out of their homes so that they could get away from a bad guy trying to hurt them. Or so they thought.

In the movie we meet both a Boov named Oh and a girl named Tip. Tip is the only human that's left once the humans were all relocated. She was separated from her mom and now wants to find where she's at. Oh is a Boov that makes lots of mistakes and is also someone that most of the other Boov's try to ignore. When he makes a small mistake sending out a blast email that was sent to every Boov, including the Boov's enemy, he is now a fugitive from the other Boov's.

Oh and Tip meet and together try to help Tip find her mom and clear Boov's name. This crazy adventure leads to an unlikely friendship.

This movie was not only funny, but when Tip is reunited with her mom, both my daughter and I couldn't help but tear up. Such a great movie for the entire family to watch. If you're looking for a great family movie to watch this summer, be sure to add Home to your movie collection. It's now out in stores on both Blu-ray and DVD.
Disclosure: All opinions are my own. I received Home on Blu-ray at no cost for the purpose of this review. No other compensation was received.
