Scare yourself silly and scream with
laughter at this hilarious spoof of Hollywood’s hottest horror movies. When a
young family, who can’t seem to stop filming themselves, moves into a house
that turns out to be haunted, they meet up with a host of creepy characters --
including a horny vampire-hunting president who wants to emancipate their dragon-tattooed
daughter. With help from the hysterically high-energy “Ghost Brothers” the
family sets out to solve the mystery of the haunted house.
MY REVIEW
When I got this movie to review, I honestly didn't have too many high hopes for it. I mean, it's been over ten years since the first Scary Movie parody came out and from then on after the first one I haven't been too impressed with any of them. I mean, there were a couple of funny parts that made me laugh, but for the most part I thought the story line and acting was a bit corny and that they were trying to hard to make fun of the movies that we love. I guess I'm a bit too old for some of these parodies that they come out with now as I don't really have too much of an interest in them, but I'm sure those of a younger generation would probably find this movie entertaining. But judge for yourself, check out the trailer that I've included below and if that interests you the movie was released in stores, January 15, 2013 for purchase.
