When a cursed dragon-witch kidnaps the lovely Lady Gleamdren, Eanrin sets boldly forth on a rescue mission...and a race against his rival for Gleamdren's favor. Intent upon his quest, the last thing the immortal Faerie needs is to become mixed up with the troubles of an insignificant mortal. But when he stumbles upon a maiden trapped in an enchanted sleep, he cannot leave her alone in the dangerous Wood Between. One waking kiss later, Eanrin suddenly finds his story entangled with that of young Starflower. A strange link exists between this mortal girl and the dragon-witch. Will Starflower prove the key to Lady Gleamdren's rescue? Or will the dark power from which she flees destroy both her and her rescuer?

MY REVIEW
I thought for sure that I'd be lost when noticing that this was book number four to the Tales of Goldstone Wood Series, but that wasn't the case at all. I was extremely happy to learn that this book takes place before the other books.

Not only that, but this was the type of book that made you feel comfortable with the characters, so whether you read the first couple of books or not, you'd still love this book. This certainly was the case for me. I couldn't put the book down nor did I want too. This was definitely a page turner that kept you wanting more and more. The characters, the storyline, everything you'd want in a fantasy novel and then some. This book left me with no disappointments.

I'm definitely going to have to catch up and read the other books from this series before book five comes out!

Disclosure: All opinions are my own. I received Starflower at no cost for the purpose of this review. No other compensation was received.
