Okko's Inn Blu-ray Review & Giveaway

After losing her parents in a car accident, Okko goes to live in the countryside with her grandmother, who runs a traditional inn near an ancient spring said to have healing waters. Okko soon discovers there are spirits living there only she can see – welcoming ghosts who keep her company, play games and help her navigate her new environment. Okko strives to be a gracious host, and this is soon put to the test by a string of challenging guests with different stories. But ultimately Okko discovers that dedicating herself to others becomes the key to taking care of herself.

MY REVIEW
Okko’s Inn is an anime movie about a young girl named Okko who sadly loses her parents in a car accident. She then moves in with her grandmother at the family inn and learns the ways of a junior innkeeper and meets spirits as well. Okko and her spiritual friends take the task of dealing with challenging guests, new life styles, and dealing and accepting the past.

As she moves fourth in her new life she must come to terms with the passing of her family, and accept that they are always there with her. She meets new friends, new guests, and new challenges, but is able to overcome them all.

This movie has brought me to laughter, tears, and understandings. Okko’s Inn is a great movie and I would definitely recommend it to all anime lovers and those who like a movie about remembrance and closure as well as some laughs. A 10/10 rated movie in my opinion and would absolutely recommend it to some of my friends and family who love anime.
