Foodie Friday: Pepperoni Roll Ups

This post is part of the Foodie Friday Blog Hop hosted by Talking MomcentsThis Hop is in celebration of Foodie February, and will be running every Friday, Saturday, Sunday for the month of February. Its a great way to find yummy new ideas, amazing tips and tricks, and some great blogs.

I think I've been a little bit obsessed with finding different recipes that you can make with crescent rolls. And once again I hit the jack pot. There are tons of recipes out there for using crescent rolls. They will definitely be shared on this blog, lol!

These Pepperoni Roll Ups are absolutely delicious and the kids just ate them up. They loved dipping these roll ups into pizza sauce and I loved that I found another recipe that not only my kiddos enjoyed, but so did the hubby. They're also kid friendly, which is great. I love recipes that are easy for my kids to help with in the kitchen. They have so much fun.

These delicious buggers would have also been perfect for the Superbowl, next year for sure.

Pepperoni Roll Ups
Source: adapted from The Girl Who Ate Everything via  Dinner With The Donnells

1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent roll dough
4 cheese sticks, halved
1 (3.5 ounce) package sliced pepperoni
optional - marinara or ranch sauce for dipping

Garlic Butter Glaze:
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasonings
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Take each triangle of crencent roll dough and place about 6 pepperoni on the bottom of the triangle. Place half of a cheese stick on top and roll up. Place seam side down on a cookie sheet and bake for 10-14 minutes or until golden brown.

While rolls are cooking, combine the melted butter, Italian seasonings, garlic powder and Parmesan cheese in a small bowl.

When rolls are done remove from the oven and brush with the garlic butter glaze. Serve with marinara or ranch for dipping.

Enjoy!

  1. You're making my mouth water, girl! Those look so yummy!

Another sweet one is to put a squirt of honey/maple syrup and a dollop of cream cheese inside them before rolling them up - yummy!
