Disney's Lady and the Tramp

Next Tuesday is the big day. The day when Disney's Lady and the Tramp will be available for you to own if you haven't got this classic movie in your collection already. I'm pretty excited. We had the dvd a couple of years ago, bought it from TBS on clearance. When we sat down to watch it with the kids we realized we bought a used copy. I don't mind it being used. I guess that's why it was on clearance. I do mind it not working for us whatsoever. Bummer. I took it back and got my money back, sad part was there wasn't another one available for us to buy. So I'm glad they're releasing this classic movie from the vault because I can't wait to watch it with my kiddos.

A classic love story unfolds in the best Disney tradition as a lovely young pedigreed cocker spaniel named Lady, who lives a pampered life, finds herself falling romantically for Tramp, an amorous street-smart pooch without prospects. Although they have fun together on several dates, including a sentimental spaghetti dinner by moonlight at Tony’s restaurant, their relationship is strained not only by Lady’s loyalty to her human family and their newborn baby, but by Tramp’s devil-may-care attitude that eventually gets Lady in trouble and tossed into the dog pound. However, good-hearted Tramp redeems himself by saving the baby from potential harm and thus wins Lady’s love and the affection of her human family.

  1. Last year around this time I started singing the 'We are Siamese' song to my daughter. She loved it so much and asked where it came from. I started telling her about Lady & the Tramp. We ended up going to all the movie stores possible to try to buy it until we finally learned it was in the vault! You can imagine my excitement! :) I didn't know it was coming out until I read this so thanks!!
